Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life

Focus on being healthier today than you were yesterday!  Do you feel like being a healthier you is too hard, too out of reach, and not a realistic goal?  You are not alone.  Why do we feel this way?  A lot of people associate being healthy with being thin, in shape, and/or athletic. People also tend to associate being healthy with some crazy dieting fad that leaves you feeling hungry, deprived and cranky. Perhaps you’ve tried them before and failed, so why bother?

We are not suggesting you try any of the starvation diet fad techniques, run out and buy a gym membership, or start working out 7 days/week.  We are suggesting that you eat!  Yes, eat and add a little coconut oil, too.

There are many healthy or healthier meal choices you can make that are very delicious and will leave you satisfied. Try to implement a new healthy or healthier lifestyle choice each day.  For example, try to include some of the following changes:

  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water, daily.

  • Take the stairs when possible.

  • Make healthier food choices.  The internet provides countless healthy menu choices and tasty recipes.

Gradually changing your lifestyle will help you to be more successful. So, remember to set realistic goals, add lifestyle changes gradually, and just focus on being healthier today than you were yesterday.

Good health can be achievable!
